Central Austin has a great reputation as being the place to live in Austin. With Downtown right around the corner and Lake Austin easily accessible through Town Lake, the area boasts an abundance of activities and places to enjoy. Central Austin is also the beginning of the Texas Hill Country. All of these conveniences do necessitate a rise in price, as is the case with any desirable area with so many positive attributes. Central Austin real estate comes at a price, but it's a great place to call home.
