Central Austin has a great reputation as being the place to live in Austin. With downtown right around the corner and easy access to Lady Bird Lake and Lake Austin, the area boasts an abundance of activities. Central Austin is also the beginning of the Texas Hill Country. All of these conveniences do necessitate a rise in price, as is the case with any desirable area with so many positive attributes.
