Caballo Ranch Neighborhood

The commute to downtown is made easy by the neighborhood being located near Ronald Reagan Boulevard. People usually take that road to E. Whitestone Boulevard and take the 183A from there. This route can also be taken to reach downtown in less than 15 minutes. Kittie Hill Airport is ten minutes north on Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Homes in the Caballo Ranch neighborhood were built by Jimmie Jacob Homes, Scott Felder Homes and Buffington Homes. Homeowner Association membership is mandatory and there are annual meetings. The Homeowner Association charges $240 and takes care of all common area maintenance.


Nature lovers are going to enjoy the natural landscape of the entire neighborhood. People can enjoy the creeks, trees and views by hiking or just walking around these areas.

The amenity center opened up in 2011 and houses a play area for children, swimming pool, bathhouse, splash pad, covered pavilion and a creek-side hiking trail. At a five minute driving distance from the neighborhood, is Avery Ranch where the facility to play golf is available and Williamson County Regional Park with football, soccer and softball fields, a running track, basketball and tennis courts and trails for hiking and biking.

People from the neighborhood host summer BBQs and many summer picnics in the park and amenity center.


Caballo Ranch may be new, but since it is located in the city with one of the largest school districts, there is no issue for finding a school for children. There are many pre-schools and K-12 private schools. Children living in the neighborhood attend Parkside Elementary School, Wiley Middle School and Rouse High School. Parents do not have to worry about teaching standards as schools are rated on STAAR and TAKS tests. For college going students, the Austin Community College campus in south central Cedar Park is the closest.


Take the FM 1431 and enter the world of shopping and eating. Heb and Home Depot are there making it very easy to shop for appliances and gadgets for the home. There are also many different restaurants like Wendy’s, Goodwill, Whataburger, Starbucks, Charming Charlie’s and many more.

People can also find many different bookstores and superstores like Target, Dollar store, Natural Grocers. Cinemark Theaters is another place where teenagers can hang out and have fun.
