Gorzycki Middle School, home of the Gorzycki Tigers, is a short drive or bike ride from the neighborhood up Slaughter Lane. The 169,000 square foot campus opened in 2009 and is one of AISD's newest middle schools.
James Bowie High School, just a short drive across the MoPac, is the largest of AISD’s High Schools. Bowie High offers college preparatory classes, Advanced Placement courses, foreign languages, athletic programs, and even caves right under the school! There are also seven preschools available in the area and a number of daycare alternatives to choose from.
Inside the community lies Escarpment Village, home to restaurants, banks, dry cleaners, Starbucks, H-E-B grocery store, dentist’s office, and mail store.
