The Eanes ISD Mission

~ To engage each and every student and to create interest by these students in the learning process.

~ Build expert and an experienced team of teachers and support staff by choosing teachers that are highly educated and who are certified to teach in Texas.

~ Find supplemental revenue so we can fund projects and grow as a district.

The Eanes district is 31 square miles and its boundaries include the Rollingwood, West Lake Hills, and parts of west Austin. There are nine schools in the Westlake school district, six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school.

The Eanes Independent School District serves approximately 7,700 students. Westlake High School has an enrollment of about 2,400 students.

At Eanes, teachers are a central part of what makes the school district so successful. More than half of EISD's educators have more than 10 years of teaching experience, and 37% hold a master's degree or higher. Eanes students ACT scores are the highest in the State and compete with the best in the nation.
